Abstract

This paper opens up certain issues related to the implementation of digital technologies in schools and thus education. In recent decades we have witnessed the rapid development of computer technology and other technologies. The exchange and transformation of knowledge through information technologies have become the characteristics of modern society. The development of technology is changing the environment in which students develop the skills they need for life. Digital mature teachers are aware that the purpose of the implementation of ICT in schools encourage the acquisition of knowledge, motivation, engagement of students and a better understanding of their content. The use of ICT in learning and teaching involves carefully selected digital content to suit the context of the subject and teaching activities. The ultimate goal of integration of technology in teaching is to redefine the ways of teaching and learning, and that is to continue doing what we never before could because we lacked digital technology.

This work is an attempt to draw attention to the emergence of a new culture of learning supported by development of digital technology.
