Abstract

In the last years of the previous century and the beginning of this one, computers and the internet have

become essential factors in all spheres of life. Distance learning, utilizing these resources, has gained full strength and purpose. Due to its specific characteristics, students can attend courses from home. There are numerous reasons why distance learning is necessary and beneficial, such as the inability of students to travel due to physical disabilities or lack of transportation, the great distance between the instructor and the student, and increased engagement due to students’ growing interest in working on computers. It is necessary to examine whether distance learning can enhance interest and success in education.
