TERRORISM – CHALLENGES AND DILEMMA

In this work, certain issues present in the public related to terrorism are opened. Terrorism is not recent, so terrorism and terrorist acts draw the public's attention throughout human history. Since there is no single definition of terrorism, the work deals with terrorism, that is, it is noted that there are several definitions of terrorism. The goals of terrorism are often imbued with a political, religious or social cloak, and a wrong interpretation of the term terrorism or a one-sided view of this scourge complicates the fight against terrorism. The paper also treats anti-terrorism as an action aimed at eliminating the causes of terrorism, which are evident from the determinants of terrorism, and the question arises whether there is an inherent relationship between religion and terrorism.
