Abstract

The condition of continuous business activities and good reputation of a company requires reliable and always available services. Today, this is not possible without information systems, because the required data proces- sing and providing services of various kinds is based on the information technology (hereafter IT). However, it is possible to disrupt the operation of these systems, disable both the regular and smooth operation, and cause direct damage to the resource itself. IT systems are vulnerable, they are not easy to manage, but they are easy to attack. For these reasons, it is necessary to pay particular attention to the nature of data confidentiality, integrity and availability for systems that manage these data, as well as the dangers that threaten the security and functionality of the system. One common method of attack is an attack by inserting a virus. It is necessary, therefore, the possession of well- designed, centralized system for antivirus protection.
