The place and importance of educational institutions as a context of sustainable development is determined by their ecological perspective, that is, the perspective of future development within the framework of the humane concept at all levels of the ecological structure. The paper presents schemes of the educational ecological environment based on the theory of system structure. 1. Bronfenbrenner, which represents the theoretical framework of the work. Orientation towards the aftr-mative associations of sustainable development in education implies a high level of competences of holistic-eco-ecological culture. The construct of a society based on knowledge and the imperative principle "in the modern world, change is the norm" imposed the need to consider the basic issues of the ecological education paradigm, through commitment to early education for sustainable development, continuity of education at all levels of the education system and stronger inclusion of educational institutions in the process of lifelong learning for sustainable development. The dimensions of the so-called "ecological triangle" activities, which represent an important element for structuring sustainable development at the level of all elements of the educational structure of the system are: creation of ecological culture, creation of ecological policy and development of ecological practice. The structure of goals within the dimensions of the triangle of sustainable development is determined by the outcomes that ensure the future-oriented development of the institution, children and adults, with a strategy of achievement through education.
