The professional training of teachers has recently become more and more relevant - especially because the school as an educational institution is increasingly entering the phase when it is possible to provide higher quality teaching and educational work. This can only be achieved if permanent professional train- ing of teachers is provided. It is becoming more and more clear that increasing the effect of the school cannot even be imagined without the training of teachers, since the teacher, if he is not prepared and trained to accept innovations in his work, can still slow down the improvement of the school’s work, regardless of the material base. Of course, it is essential for success in professional development that it must come from a deeper conviction and attitude of the teacher that it is necessary. The requests coming from schools, from teachers, are sporadic, which is precisely one more reason why we cannot be satisfied with the current practice of professional development, among other things because we do not want our educational workers to become conservative (which is in nature his calling is not, but he can practically be like that), to keep up with the times (and for some, why not say it, it can hardly be said that they keep up with the times).
